FILM OF THE MONTH ~ JANUARY 2013

This month began with two films which are quite rightly regarded as classics, Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather (1972) and Apocalypse Now (1979) as they both opened the new year for nEoFILM, but controversially and I’m sure this will add fuel to the fire for my detractors, Michael Bay’s preposterous but highly entertaining science fiction actioner Armageddon (Director’s Cut) (1998) is declared January’s, Film Of The  Month.

CANDLES 9

The only other contender besides Coppola’s classics, was Carry On Cleo (1964), which was the highest rated film of the month with 10/10, but Bay’s classic was just a clear winner.

Thanks. I’m just glad that this was a positive comment. I was expecting some more flack. Pro Michael Bay posts never normally do well. 🙂

      1. What can I say… I’m a fan! 🙂
