So far so good as for my Oscar predictions, with Lincoln (Steven Spielberg) failing to steal the show, but receiving one Globe for Danial Day Lewis’s performance of the doomed President. Anne Hathaway won her’s for Les Miserables (Tom Hooper), but Life Of Pi (Ang Lee) didn’t do as well as I would have thought. Besides Les Miserables, with 3 Golden Globes, there was no clear winner as such, and I suspect that this is a trend which will spill over into the Academy Awards.

Argo (Ben Afleck) was a clear favourite and I was glad to see Adele winning with “Skyfall” and that Django Unchained (Quentin Tarantino) won more than I though that it would.
