NOT A PART OF MY COLLECTION

Will we be adding this to our collection? NO

There was once a time when Harrison Ford could command an audience, with his action sensibilities and his emotional grounding, Ford was accessible as a heroic figure. But by the end of the 90’s, he was becoming more and more of a has been, never taking himself away from his safe persona.

He’s getting on a bit now and his best role of the past decade has to have been Indiana Jones, and considering the state of the last film, that’s not saying much. Firewall was a prime example. Family kidnapped and  held at their family home whilst Ford is forced to rob him own bank, whose systems he designed.

Paul Bettany is the typically British mastermind and hams it up something rotten. This is just a generic hostage heist thriller, done to death and boringly executed this time. Ford needs to move on and do something different and Bettany has his forte and it’s a shame that he think s that this kind of nonsense is it.
