HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE

2001

6/10

AKA: “HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERERS STONE” (USA)

Not a bad start to the franchise, though played it VERY safe. From what I understand, though not having read the book myself, this suffered from being cut considerably but as film, I felt it worked well. The acting wasn’t first rate mind, from the children but that was to be expected.
